Gables @ Gondola Base - Designer 2BR

Overall a very enjoyable experience! It was clean, well stocked, and a short walking distance to the Gondolas... a great value for the money. The heated bathroom floors were superb, and the Wifi was fast and easy to connect. The boot dryers were a nice touch too. This is perfect for two adults, maybe with 1-2 small children. Be forwarned the only bathroom is upstairs and the childrens room is on the bottom floor.Why "only" 4 stars? What keeps this from being a true 5 star experience? The bed in the primary bedroom was uncomfortable. We found it very firm and hollow so you could feel every small movement of the person sleeping next to you. It was not ideal after a day spent on the mountain and my wife ended up sleeping downstairs in the childs bunk bed. A mattress topper would have made all the difference.

Clean and amenities were exactly as described.

We stayed three nights and certainly enjoyed the proximity to the village and lifts. The owner/manager was excellent to deal with.
